10 Questions with Craig "Bohis Nosetti" Blais
Hi My name is Craig Blais also known as Bohis Nosetti.
How long have you been playing?
I have been a part of the realms for a little over ten years.
How has the game changed since you've been playing?
The game has changed a lot since i started playing, from the spell system to the weapons we now use, A lot has changed. Back when I started we had to use 3/4" pvc for our weapons and 1/2" pvc was on trial to see if it was safe to be used for 3'8"s. We also used to have Two cost buy downs for spells instead of the current one cost buy downs.

Casting Call for Local Newsletter Leads to Fame and Fortune
As a reminder, the staff at the View is looking for another editor. This person needs to be able to drive content, edit works contributed by others, and be accessible via Facebook chat at random times (and often for random things)
This is a volunteer position, with perks like chatting with me and Jen Rosa often. However, chatting with Alex N is part of the task, too.
In truth, it is a very fulfilling job, even if it often goes unnoticed. The Editing Staff is a team that thrives both on scheduling and a hint of chaos. If this intrigues you, and you love writing, you must let the staff know by sending us a brief paragraph or two via email to this address:
Please send all responses by Sunday, January 17th.

Rejected View from Valehaven Awards 2015/16
AKA, Really? This Again?
Most likely to sell out their friends for cheese.
Swore they would wear pants at the next event.
Most likely to be banned from a privy.
Most likely to be told to take the trash out, in the cold, at night, without boots, or a flashlight.
Obviously not going to bribe their way into the Order of the Peacock, even with a bolt of silk fabric made from the tears of angels. Angels who really needed the money. Really needed.
Player who's personal color scheme clashes with their kingdom's heraldry.
Dish at a feast best suited towards putting out a fire.
Event Plot, best used to lull narcoleptic children to sleep with.
Owner of a Hat designed to be used as an emergency flotation device.
Most likely to need a helmet, at a feast.

Why I Want to Go: Feast of Leviathan XVIII
This event is now older than several players, and older than most of your realms careers. This event could VOTE if it were a citizen of the USA.
Also known as the Feast of Blood, this is where people would go to shake off the cabin fever. A while back, this was one of the only winter events players would see. And there was always an axe to grind about something. Sometimes, people would just look for an excuse to make trouble. Not that I ever did such things.
These days, there is usually too much going on to cause too much trouble. The adventurer's guild will be looking for help with some quests. The Gilded Lion Carnival is a fun diversion.
Many merchants will be around, so bring your gold and green for some new garb!
Speaking of garb, I hear the Order of the Peacock will be looking for Best Dressed of the day.
Not enough to keep you entertained? There are also tournaments of the combat and non combat variety. Sir Tao will bring his amazing casino! Gau Dring will be looking for help with their Big Game infestation.
But the main attraction is Gwen's cooking. She will be testing the limits of our waist bands with her course after course of amazing dishes. It doesn't matter what comes out of that kitchen, you won't want to miss a crumb.
On a separate note: WEDNESDAY IS THE LAST DAY TO VOTE!!!!! Please log into Realmsnet and vote for your favorites for the View from Valehaven awards. Winners will be announced at the feast.

Ask Syruss
Dear Syruss,
I am a guard of the gates of the city of Ivory, so thus my love could never be. With name so Soft, and heart so cold, how could I ever be so bold? I would say till death do us part, but death may be what wins his heart. My shining flower, my perfect dancer; my own true love, my necromancer. How to choose between my career and my duty to this holiest of cities, or my own profane desires to be his undead minion?
Also I’m not sure if he knows that I exist.
~Guard #69, City of Ivory
Dear Your to short to be an Ivory Guard,
First off Ivory has love laws…. Disgusting
Second you must be a new reader or you would have noticed my last passion filled question about the bearded guy and the Creathorne chick that was super shy but I bet had some awesome qualities. ( I am not mocking Creathorne Sir Sean I love you please don’t send angry ravens)
Well If you are too busy to look back through the archives or just wanted personal bit of advice from The Sy Guy then your in luck because I love love.
So you career focused and that is messing with your desire for this other being. Well consider this Love and careers go hand in hand.
Whether or not to put love or a career in front of the other is personal preference and each has its own benefits and consequences. But, experts says that relationships and careers often feed off each other. For example, some workers might be so focused on advancing his or her career that they end up stealing time from their relationship. But, a good relationship can actually be a boon to work, she says, providing support, steadiness and insight. Now in your case you Career directly effects whether or not you can be with this person.
This reminds me of this other couple I helped lets call them Roger and Julia well replace career oaths with feuding families and basically we have you #69.
It comes down to this do you honor your Vow and Oath to maintain the piece and holy light stuff of the goody to shoes Aurora is that Oath still your love? Your passion? Would you be happy doing something else as long as you were with this person?
If you think that this person is your new Passion then you owe to your self to at least explore that.
Maybe try getting this persons attention first (using my awesome tips from last week)
Then see if you too are a match. Why throw away a career you at least at one point in your life loved for a stranger you don’t really know.
Now if it turns out you two guys are a match made in the ALL then by all means throw caution to the wind and explore my friend explore these feelings.
Let me know how this turns out.
And remember its Like Sir Nymbous O’Leary says “ Hey Syruss we are our of whisky you jerk."
He does not always speak words of wisdom.
Hope this helps sorry if it doesn’t, Cheers!
Sir Syruss O’Leary
Knight of the Potentium
