What You Missed - Creathorne Fall Cleanup 2019

by Liam (RuBarb) Moore

The morning was cold at 30 degrees there was frost on the ground.

It warmed up quickly though and we started burning all the old woodpile to clean up around the fire pit.

We started laying out an organized place for easy to carry logs and cut some wood to fill it up for next ToC.

We cut behind the large rock at the firepit to store new wood that's cut in the spring.  This way we'll have two separate locations for two seasons of wood and we won't put greenwood on top of dry wood.

Andy tested setting up a test real quick and several benches got repaired.

Overall for the number of people that came we got a good amount of work done.  Fall clean up is just an important if not more important to prepare the site for an easier spring cleaning.  With more numbers, we'd be able to start some projects to improve the site not just maintain it. Thank you to all those that came, we'll see everyone back for the spring cleanup and of course ToC.
