Hedda's Helping Hands Kitchen: Recipe #5

Garlic Confit


Ingredients:

1lb Fresh Garlic  

Rosemary

Red Pepper Flakes 

Olive Oil 


Instructions:

Preheat your oven to 200 degrees Fahrenheit

Peel your garlic and place in an oven safe dish

Cover the garlic with oil till it just covers the garlic

Add in the spices about 2 tablespoons of each.

Place the dish into the oven and let slow cook for about 6 hours

You will know it's done when the garlic spreads soft like butter.

When stored in an airtight container in the fridge it will last 1-2 months. 

Let cool entirely before storing, or spread directly on some toast for some delicious garlic bread!
