Please physically describe your shield; style, Heraldry colors etc?
The shield I primarily use is all black. Black painted front, with black taped foam. The back of it is unpainted blue and it is a punch shield.
How long have you had your shield?
I have had the same shield, that I made, unrepaired since 2012.
Is this your preferred shield style?
I prefer punch kite shields over pretty much anything else. They just feel right.
Have you ever tried a different style of shield?
I have tried a few different styles of shield ranging from bucklers, sled shields as well as the tear drop shields and coffin shields. I have used tower shields and the small 3' shields as well. Within those types have done both punch shields and arm shields.

Have you ever had to fix/repair/refoam it since it's original creation?
No.
What is your favorite move with the shield?
My favorite move with the shield is the step wrap around after a faint. It is just fun.
Do you have any interesting stories about the shield?
My shield is wildly inconvenient to pack and yet it shows to 90% of the events I attend. I don't commonly fight with the shield anymore as I have moved over to the 5' and 6'6" as of late but I always pack it as it is almost like a comfort blanket, always there when you need it.
