Hello to the Realms Community! It has been eight months since The Community S.P.A.R.K. initiative, looking to Spotlight: Passion, Achievement, Recognition, Knowledge and more with the intent to provide an anonymous place to shout-out our peers within the community. In this time, there have been 110 Sparks sent out to celebrate so many members of our community, both new and old. Below is the 2025 Year in Review, containing all of the Sparks shared in 2025! Sky has done so much quietly behind the scenes, and they really should get recognized for it. They play fascinatingly in-depth characters that are often quiet and go unnoticed. However, that doesn't mean they don't also have the brightest spark of mischief. If you want to get into trouble at an event and laugh the whole way through, they're the go-to person!

One moment that really stood out to me was during the Queen’s War. You knew you were the last one left, and there was a clear moment where you could have psyched yourself out. Instead, you paused, took a deep breath, and stepped onto the field. That’s never an easy thing to do in any situation, let alone when you’re staring down an entire line of opponents, but you did it. And I’m so proud of you.

On Saturday night at I saw you at Tournaments of Chaos, I saw you do something absolutely awesome: While preparing for a bunch of challenging and high-stakes plot in a few weeks, you got your hands on a bunch of powerful in house items. And then you went and made sure a bunch of the newbies at the event each got their own cool in-house item too.
I could see from the joy in their eyes (and the instant theorycrafting they started doing) that you had absolutely made their day. And the items they got that night will bring them joy and stories to tell for years to come. This is the kind of conduct that I think exemplifies the very best of what a KoEF and KoSD should be.

Travis gives his 110% for every event he runs. He refuses to let anything including age or health get in the way of providing a challenging and immersive event experience for his players. And he does so with an event-holding team that’s a fraction of the size of most others.

Tim is an incredible NPC. He has wonderful etiquette, from projecting shots in advance, to bringing his own additions to costuming to make the world feel more immersive. Tim is the type of NPC who any event holder would be lucky to have on their team, and any player would be lucky to fight against, feeling like a badass all the while.
The Sunicar Family Despite being under a year in the game, you all are some of the hardest workers I’ve seen with an incredible passion behind what you do. Each of you has a different role on and off the battlefield, but you support each other in spite of this.Through all of your hard work each of you makes the whole better and more impressive than the sum of it’s parts. I am both excited and terrified to see where you end up some day.

You stepped up hard this weekend. From providing the sacrifice necessary to defeat Urzael, to showing a new ferocity and conviction I haven’t seen from you before. You are no longer the meek goat who joined the realms. You are a stellar roleplayer willing to insert yourself into the narrative when it is needed, I’m really proud of you.

Travis is not an easy person or an easy plot to marshal for. There is 30 years of real life history behind these stories, on top of hundreds of wiki pages for a video game you’ve never played. In spite of this, you managed to keep up, to help support us when we needed it, while being humble enough to know when to divert to a more experienced marshal. I’m excited to see you continue to throw this plot with Travis, and excited for whatever plot you decide to throw on your own someday.
