Why I'm beyond excited to go to the shadowlands. I have been waiting a whole year now to have a reason to return back to the shadowlands. I had a blast at the tournament Queen Karmha held. I even got a book that I can't wait to find out what it does. She even asked me if I wanted to sell my food while I'm there to help, mostly. Of course I said yes, I have new snacks and a fall (mock) ale for travelers to try while they are there to help with the bandits. Felt a bit bad for her as well for opening up to trade & tourism and already dealing with a bandit issue. I heard JB had a ginger addiction acting up, so I thought to myself how can I profit most off that. Then it came to me, I'll add ginger to the seasonings in the food I'll serve. There will be a nice hearty breakfast of potatocakes, french potato toast, bacon and panfries. Coffee and ale in the morning will be available as well to waken the senses in the raising adventurers. I'll make some gingersnaps, potatochips, rice krispies and water available during the day time to keep everyone going. At night after being treated to some deliciousBBQ, I'll bring out some smores supplies for around the fire. And finally I have the perfect treat just for JB. He won't be able to resist some special jerky flavored with ginger. Heard there's a special kind of meat he enjoyed, shouldn't be that hard to acquire on the way. I do have new magic and a friend named Spud to make it easier. Maybe my food will help with the corruption in his mind, or maybe not. Only one way for me to find out and see what happens. The three M's are important to the church of Shadow after all. In the end I'm sure we'll help JB. But I can't also help but have something else in the back of my mind. What are the shadowy figures and what are they searching for? Maybe they are the cultists from the Neden BBQ. If so, what could it be that they are searching for? But most importantly how valuable is it? Maybe if anything I could trick the figures into hiring me to find it for them. What a weird and fun time this adventure is going to be for Spud and I.
