What year was your Knighthood formed?
What does your knighthood stand for?
The Knighthood at it's core is an organization dedicated to doing good and doing the right thing. It was originally a plot knighthood at Randy Gordon events, but has grown to be more player driven than NPC driven.
The Knights of the Crown are sworn to defend the crown of Coventry, held by the Avatar of Aurora. It is also the sister organization/check and balance to the Knights of Garm (Death Knights).
What are your tenants?
- Do the right thing. Even if others would oppose you; even if it may cost you your life, make sure that it is done.
- Strive to do no evil through action or inaction.
What is your symbol?

Did you have a traditional Knightly power, if so what was it?
Traditionally the Knights of the Crown had two powers. The first was the paladin ability to "lay on hands". This ability cured anything wrong with a person up to, but not including, scalping.
The power was the ability to swing "Sword of Light" with any weapon. This came into play mostly at Randy events where Knights of the Crown had to deal with Death Knights.
What do you look for when selecting squires?
The criteria for taking a squire is different for each knight, but a candidate is usually discussed among the knights. The specific of why a candidate would be a good fit for the order is kept private among the knights.
What is your squiring process like?

The process is different for each squire based on what their knight has in mind for tasks. Questing factors heavily in squirely duties.

Do you have any interesting stories from your Knighthoods past?
The Knights of the Crown had a T-shirt with a big red bullseye on the front of it and "Kill us first, Randy says so"". On the back it said "Born to be hosed, Knights of the Crown." Some of the older knights still have their shirts.
Anything else?
All female knights are knighted as "Sir" regardless of whether or not they choose "Sir" or "Dame" as a title.
The knights had an official swearing in vow but it was seldom used in the ceremony. The original oath of the Knights of the Crown was as follows:
Gods of war I call you, my sword is by my side
I seek a life of honor free from all false pride
I will crack the whip with a bold mighty hail
Cover me with death if I should ever fail
Glory, majesty, unity, hail, hail,hail
