Upon arriving in Invictus we were met by a a member of an order known as "The Fallen Star". He seemed very urgent to send us to help stop a demon summoning ritual. The gathered heroes also got to meet a demon named Nixa who was eager to help in exchange for favors. We set out quickly realized that stealth as well as brute force were needed to work our way through a maze of demons and obstacles. We were met by powerful clockwork demons, locks to decipher and a few imprisoned souls that tested our moral fortitude. Ultimately, we finally found ourselves facing a demon of Despair. It was wielding a great hammer and was quite powerful but somehow we were able to defeat it. We were happy to be traveling back to Invictus and the rest we would need for the tournaments the following day.
The tournament rings were waiting for us and as expected were quite challenging. We fought in all the traditional weapon combinations and a few that tested our tactics and stamina as well. The marshaling was top notch as always and the pace was constant. At the end of the day Lukejohn of Ashenmark took first place.
My personal thanks to the marshals and all of Invictus for this great tournament and to the competitors who fought with honor and skill.
