This is the fourth year of the IC college of Highbridge pushing education, fun, and way too much food. While there will be no fighting, there is still plenty to do. Classes that touch on many topics can be attended. Each class is taught IC, so expect fun engagement.
Learn about topics covering everything from Economics, enjoying feasts, weapon construction, and becoming a better spell caster are just a few of the topics you'll come across.
Now, this is the FEAST of Highbridge, but (theres always a but) if you have not yet paid and pre-reged, you will not be attending the feast. Those of us who were clever enough to sign up for the Feast are in for some incredible treats. I don't know the menu, but I know there will be way too much glorious food. Im very happy with that.
Come for the class, stay for the food. And by stay, I mean on site. Which is a hotel. Pretty swank.

Ask the S's: Let's get Ready to Annnnnnswwwwerrrrrr!!!!!
How do you live, or unlive if you have Embrace Death, with yourself? How do you sleep on your silk mattress washed with the BLOOD OF UNDEAD WORKERS BARRED THEIR CIVIL RIGHTS? Why are my people not offered the barest modicum of civil rights when you take them out to the barley plantations to work from 8 to 7! At least let them nibble on some brain on a lunch break or something. You monster.
Listen here you whiny little Litch,
I’ll have you know I don’t use the Undead in Neden for anything. In fact I kill as many as I can as often as I can.
Those gross zombies make more mess then they ever clean. The rest of Neden is actually quite nice to the Un-dead workforce. Priest Z helps them with religion and Ideology and makes them feel very included in all the blood rituals, Jean Baptist is always having them come down to help in the kitchen (for some reason we need to replace all the kitchen volunteers) heck even Siff uses them to practice his Harlequin stand up comedy routine (Now those are some unfortunate bastards).
As far as working them in the field all day, I agree, we should not. Do you know how hard it is to keep a large mass of zombies on task? Especially when there are always wayward adventures walking around like a take out mutton shop. We barely get anything grown in the fields the sanitation process to make sure the stuff they did touch and or handle takes more time and effort than it would if we handled the gardening ourselves.
Not to mention they are the worst drunks. We have to kick out a un-dead hooligan at least twice a week at The Old O’Leary Hump House and Bar (Neden’s Bar and Breakfast Joint).
Last week ol Swoop was visiting Jean Baptist and these two real uggo undead walked in mumbling something about Brain-tini’. Jean Baptist was trying to decipher what they were saying while Swoop was trying to get them some pretzel’s.. “BRAIN-TINI” the disgusting duo kept screaming, I said “We don’t serve brain here fella, how about one of our award winning apple-tini’s?”
Well let me give you a bit of advice if you offer a Zombies anything but a brain related item prepare for odd looks and angry yells.
Well these two mammoths instantly snapped, one zombie picked poor Swoop up over his head, and military pressed him through our nice stain glass window that Sarix just made (you try casting repair item on shards of glass). Well Jean Baptist wasn’t having any of that. He started mumbling something then his eyes turned red (not unlike Lord Nymbous's after 4 or 12 Appletinis) and the two huge Monstrous Menacing Maniac Un Dead Meat-bags eyes turned blue; Then they did the strangest thing, they looked at each other mumbled and the head-butted each other till the both were dead. Well JB’s eyes turned back to normal he collapsed in the bar stool and ordered a Milk (Who does that?), he then curiously looked around asked what had happened, and reflected upon how we should really fire the undead cleaning that place.
Moral of the story here, they never clean this place. Like, ever.
Un-Dead rights psssshhhhhhh….Be afraid of the ever growing mass of zombie creating murderers.
Hope the is information helps sorry if it doesn’t.
It’s like Lord Nymbous always says “Lifelessness flows through your veins you are mine and this shall remain your will is mine your body obeys in my service your corpse remains now get up and go to work I and behave your self clean that castle that doesn’t clean itself. Rise my undead and go wash the windows”

Dear Monster,
I live quite well, I have many furs and jewels and undead servants, thank you for asking. In addition, my undead have no rights. They don’t even urinate without my orders, which comes in handy for my clients with more exotic tastes, but that’s neither here nor there. What most necromancy is, is restoring the mechanical functionality to a body. In that way it’s much more respectful to individuals than healing as Baptiste pointed out.In fact his article is an excellent primer on necromantic ethics.
And trust me there would be much more outrage if I allowed my undead to run rampant, but if that’s what the people want I will be at Feast of Creathorne offering my services.
Love,

-Wouldn't even know who to start with.

What do you love most about the game?
-The people.

View Award Nominee Profile- Becky Baron- Bard

It's hard to judge. Could be zero, because I didn't perform in any sort of formal setting like a court or
a tournament. It could be about 5 for times that I sang or told a story and had an audience such as around a campfire. It could be a lot more than that, because my primary bardic art is storytelling, and I tell stories to people whenever they'll listen. At feasts, on quests, and just standing around.
Why do you opt to perform in Realms?
I love all the stories that the Realms creates. Everyone gets to be a hero, so everyone gets to star in a fairy tale. People are heroes as long as their stories are still being told. I like the combination of the nostalgia, education, and social bonding that story-telling brings with it. Realms is also the only place I sing because the small campfire audiences are incredibly respectful and appreciative, and even then it is only under rare circumstances.
What do you do for performances and what are some things you keep in mind that you feel helps to make you successful?
Again, since my "performances" are generally informal, it's hard to say. All someone has to do is ask me to tell a story, or mention something that I know a story for, and I start "performing". The hardest thing to keep in mind is that I only know one version of the story.
What are some of the challenges you face regarding performing?
I am very self-conscious. I really hate to sing, but I love writing songs. I don't think I'm any good at singing, but I also don't like having my songs sung by anyone else. It's quite a dilemma. That's why I tend to resort to story-telling. The challenge there is knowing how long to talk for. Some people have already heard these stories. Some people have their own stories to tell. I haven't found the balance between telling a good story and talking too much. I also tend to apologize before or after performing, and I know this is a very bad habit.
Tell us about a memorable moment you had while performing?
The best performance memory I had was singing a song I had written at a Feast of Chimeron court. It was in honor of the War of Shadows and the fallen soldiers in Darkvale. I had worked hard on it but was still way outside my comfort zone. Later I learned that I had brought members of the audience to tears, and that I had affected even some of the most stoic members of the community.
If someone wanted to get involved in performing in Realms what advice would you have for them?
Don't apologize for what you are doing. Performing takes guts. No matter how skilled you are or are not, you are incredibly brave for putting yourself out there. People won't notice the flaws in your performance unless you point it out to them. Once you decide to perform, be proud, not apologetic.

Ask Soft
Dear Soft,
Mayerling presents itself as a well armed, well armored military unit that understands uniformity in dress and in action, yet you remain distinctly unique among them in look, attitude, and action. Please give some advice to those of us who want to be a vital contributing part of a nation, but still retain our individuality while belonging to the whole.
- Partov deCrowd
Dear Partov,
Please understand that our strength comes with our diversity of being. No epic quest or great accomplishment has ever been completed without many minds approaching the task from multiple ways. What will allow you to be who you feel you truly are while still contributing (I feel I should point out here that I am in now way vital to...anything actually.) to your nation is to fully understand what their goals are and how they can align with your own. Take the events of the most recent Ashen Bounty. While I’m loathe to get my hands dirty, except for that one time I was elbow deep in that dead guy’s chest, I had to throw myself into the thick of battle for my own goals and those of my fellow heroes.
Let’s not forget however the most important part, your attire. While I tend to favor gold, you can still see some remnants to my homeland in the rich reds and blacks I’m able to work into my ensembles. If you are looking to deviate from the classical garb of your nation, remember, less is more. Unless it’s armor in which case more is more. Regardless, finding functional accessories like a woven belts that compliment your color scheme, or even a nice hooded bolero can add a certain flair to your outfit that makes you stand out in the crowd and easier for your allies to find you. I mean, who doesn’t know where to find me when I’m wearing my white robe?

Why I Want To Go: Blue Rose Charity Casino Night
Most of these articles are just a quick "Hey guys!! Theres a Tournament this weekend!!" or "Hooray! Questing!" and sometimes "MMMMM FOOD"
This weekend we see a break from the traditional. For a $20 donation you get access to Casino games, an auction, cash bar, delicious foods, Magic the Gathering, and a raffle. All while in the company of your friends. What better way to spend a better Saturday night?
You all know, by now, that this event is to raise funds to help the family of one of our brothers-at-arms, Sir Kwartz of Folkestone. While Kevin has not been active with the Realms for sometime, he has been active raising a family in Colorado. If you never met him, then I encourage you to come to the event, not just to have fun, or to feel good for contributing to a cause, but to meet Kevin, and see for yourself why so many people are banding together to support him and his wonderful family.
