While the description of the event itself is a little vague, we do know a few things about the event happening on Sunday at the Arisia con held in Boston.
1) Dan Diamond is the event holder. If you are a super new player and have yet to have the pleasure of meeting him, Dan is a wonderful man. He has contributed to the game in so many ways I can't even begging to list them here. He is responsible for some of the best players in the game being as good as they are. (Sorry, he also is partly responsible for me, too) Anything Dan has a hand in is bound to be fun.
4) Dan is working with the Knights of the Sable dragon, a very old Order, steeped in honor. If you don't know them, check them out. Good people.
3) Going to this event will not only be a ton of fun, but you get to meet a pile of new people. The events thrown at Arisia are to let new people try out our LARP system, and hopefully draw them in. If you like new people, go!
4) Its in Boston, not the middle of no where. SO MANY OPTIONS for after event dinner!
Due to the event location, there are no bows and no weapons over 5 ft. There is no restriction on how much fun you can have, though.
