The 12th annual Tournaments of Chaos is this weekend up at Little Creathorne Farms in Grafton, New Hampshire, and you should make it a point to be there. Tournaments of Chaos has something for everyone including questing, feasting, and tourneying. This event is jam packed with content to satisfy all different players in the Realms. It is no small feat to keep an event going strong for twelve years, but the reason for this event’s success is that it is unique from other tournament events. The theme of the weekend truly is chaos, and you are sure to be kept on your toes.
Keep an eye out for opportunities to interact with plot happenings in Sharingil, as there will be night quests Friday and Saturday night as well as questing during the day. The feast fare on Saturday will be a nice break from all of the tournaments. And while I’m on the subject, the list of tournaments is enormous and looks really fun. In addition to the usuals, Tournaments of Chaos will feature a Chaos Challenge where participants roll a 20-sided die to figure out what weapon combo they will be fighting with, a Chaos Grand Melee where participants will be given random weapons, and Chaos Ninja Battles. And that’s just the tip of the iceberg, because Saturday night will feature non-com tournaments and bardics, as well as a Beirut Tournament, Radstar’s Lightning Bowl, and Dygen’s Chaos Challenge. (This is in addition to a night quest, ladies and gentlemen...when does this staff ever sleep?!?)
Another really cool feature of Tournaments of Chaos is the weekend long challenge to be named Most Honorable, Most Chaotic, Most Lawful, Most Shady, and Most Badass. I really hope you have an opportunity to get up to Creathorne this weekend to check this event out, because it would be a lot of fun to end the summer with a little chaos, now wouldn’t it?
