  1. I met Ben (Rohde) at Folkestone Questing '08. I hit on him by going up to him and telling him he was the "best fighter ever."

  2. Not exactly, but close. Rhiannon (Tria) overheard a group of us talking about plot at WPI over a period of a few weeks. She wanted to get involved and made a character. Though she wasn't interested in me in particular until the unofficial event "Saving Ged and Tara," so that makes it even closer.

  3. Sara and I met at the second Yoma, in 98. It would be 7 years before we actually would get together.

  4. Neil and I met sort of, kind of, through Realms. He played looonnnggg before I did and hung out at Denny's (a lot). I met him there a bit before I started playing in 95. We didn't actually get to know each other until years later. And didn't even date until 2004!
So... I guess my answer is "kind of".

  5. Nate and I met at a realms event. It was a little backyard event way back around '98' maybe or '99'. We started dating in fall of '99' and the rest is history. We have been together ever since.

No others are as significant as I.

  8. I met my wife at a different LARP, (that I briefly tried to see how the other half lives) back in 1994. We didn't see each other again until Dec 2003. When a mutual friend of ours became her short term housemate, and I dropped in to visit.

And the rest, well you know. Wife, two kids, two dogs. Etc.

  9. Met my wife at a Feast of Folkestone. She was waiting for a mutual friend to sign her into the event.

Never saw her again until 5 years later at another Feast and started dating.
