Why I Want to Go: A Very Merry Yule at Crazy Uncle Cecil's Tavern 2

So, instead of telling you about the great things about this event, Im just going to run through the schedule the staff has in store for anyone who wants to merrymake.

Friday night is a night to gather and deck the halls.  It doesn't matter if you are have experience with interior decorating or not.  Or, if that is not your bag of Yule joy, you can carol those who are decorating.  Maybe you had a rough night, and your voice isn't up for singing?  The Chimeron casino will be up and running, so bring your gold!
The bar will be serving hot toddies to those of age, but this is not a party night.  Do not expect the bar to cater to you.

Saturday the fun starts with a light hearted Yule themed quest at 1pm.  The quest has a hard stop time of 5pm, at which point you will have one hour to change from your questing rags into your finery.
Wear your finest, the Order of the Peacock is looking for Best Dressed!
Remember, absolutely no drinking until the King has held first toast.  The bar will only open to serve the first toast, and lighting of the Tree.  Once King Cecil has opened the party, there's a myriad of things to do aside from hassle the barkeeps (although I admit it's a blast-dint forget to tip them well).  As always, there are complimentary drinks in the form of beer and well drink.  Ask the bar tenders what is in stock.
Father Yule will make his annual appearance to share wisdom, and bring gifts for good boys and girls.
The Chimeron Casino will open up to all those who enjoy sharing the wealth.  The Gift Swap will take place once Father Yule has moved on.
After the gift swap, there is a charity auction taking place.  Tickets will be for sale from various folks around the tavern.  Some tickets can be purchased with gold, but your green is most appreciated for this auction, please.  War Dogs Making it Home and House of Hope are the two charities chosen to be supported this year.
Matt Norris will be set up to take professional pictures of you and your friends.  Take advantage of this!
Carolers will be singing, Dancers will be dancing.  Be generous with your gold for entertainers (dealers, bar staff and servants, too).
Of course, don't forget the food!  While we will see the traditional Crazy Tavern fare, this year will be stellar with two very well heeled feastocrats in the kitchen.  No way you'll go hungry (unless you didn't pre reg dietary restrictions, then its on you)  Food will be served all evening.

QUICK TIPS
  • If you plan to drink, have your ID ready.  If you have no band, you cannot drink.  If you have no ID, you cannot have a band.
  • ALL Alcohol must be behind the bar.  Period.
  • Be an accountabilibuddy.  Help keep your friends safe, hydrated, and not too drunk.  Staff hates asking people to leave
  • Plan to stay on site if you are drinking, or find a designated driver
  • There is to be no drinking before First Toast
  • Clean up in Sunday is greatly appreciated
